So its St.Patricks Day. I am at work with very little to do, so I thought I would give this blog thing a shot, who knows what fun it will bring, haha.
To start of with I was going to talk about my love for Ireland. It is pretty heavy on my mind today, givin that it is St.Patty's day, I am working at an Irish Shop, I have been practicing my bagpipes, and I am learning Irish Gaelic. (Am I stuck in a rut or what?) Ireland is somewhat of a place of dreams for me, I always think of what a great escape it would be to go there to live, or even just to visit again. Boy, what I would give to ship out to there right now. I think a vacation would do me good! I was looking at my friends World Venture website the other Day and saw a need for people to travel to Ireland, and be a student and work with student ministry, at which point I buried my face in my palm, and muttered something about, "Now I find that...". Someday I will live there, mark my words. I will live in the small town of Bantry Bay, where there will be only the beauty of God's greenest creation, and finally some peace of mind.
Anyway, Im getting homesick for a place thats never been my home, except in my mind. So Im going to go play with all these blog settings and see what this baby can do!
